center in Winter Garden, Florida seeks
enthusiastic individuals who are
committed to the education of young
children.
TEACHER
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age, hold a high
school diploma or equivalent and have 1
year minimum experience in specified age
group. Maintain the state in-service
training requirements; and have
knowledge and understanding of all
current State and local regulations.
(Lead Teachers must have a CDA or
equivalency)
Able to lift as in lifting, carrying and
holding infants and children. Able to
meet requirement of standing up to 90%
of the day. Must be able to stoop, bend
and sit on a child’s level. Able to
physically and mentally interact and
react to children on the playground
and/or classroom, and attend to their
needs.
Description:
Prepare and implement lessons, schedules
and activities appropriate for the
children served, based on center
policies and procedures. Maintain an
organized and structured environment
that encourages positive behavior and
the child’s natural growth and
development. Utilizes teachable moments
and transition activities to maximize
the educational program of the center.
Provides consistent and constant
supervision of all children. Maintains
positive parent interactions,
maintaining parents informed of lessons
and activities. Works closely with other
center staff to implement center
policies and procedures as stated in
manuals. Completes and submits all
records required including time sheets,
attendance sheets , incident reports and
any other required material. Evidences
interest in self-development and growth
through participation in in-service
activities and other required courses.
Willing to accept direction, feedback
and evaluations as part of professional
development.
